Daddy/Daughter Date Night

Dads, grandfathers, guardians and special friends: Invite your daughter (s) ages 5 and up to a semi-formal affair featuring a full course catered dinner followed by an evening of dancing to a professional D.J. There will be exciting contests throughout the night, including the crowning of a king and princess.

Dance

Shuffle ball change, hop, hop! Do a little doe-see-doe! Come join the Ashwaubenon Parks and Recreation Department as they bring out the talent in your child.

Fall Family Movie Night - Monsters Vs. Aliens

Join the Ashwaubenon Parks & Recreation Department for a fun evening with your family at the community Center.  We will cozy up to the fireplace and enjoy the movie.

Girls Night Out

Hang out. Laugh. Share secrets. Give advice. Ask for advice. Encourage others. Make new friends. Grow into your own. Listen. Be listened to.  Have fun! This program will focus on group activities that effectively approach issues that pertain to girls at the middle school level. It’s a girl thing ... why stay in when you can come to Girl’s Night Out!  Instructor is Ashley Treml

Haunted House - Middle School

Join us for a night of ghouls, goblins and fun as we take a bus to one of the local "haunted houses."

House of Speed

If you are serious about your sports achievements, this is the program for you. We have partnered with House of Speed Green Bay (founded by former Packer Don Beebe) to offer you two introductory sessions of speed and enduring training. These have been developed to maximize physical & mental performance, teach a proper attitude, & also build sportsmanship, heart & character. No matter what sport you are involved in, the House of Speed can take you to a higher level of athletic performance.

Learn-To-Swim Program

The Learn-to-Swim Program helps swimmers of all ages and varying abilities develop their swimming and water safety skills.  It is designed to give students a positive learning experience.  American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim teaches aquatic and safety skills in a logical progression. 

If you are unsure what level to enroll in, contact our Aquatic Coordinator and he/she will help you choose the appropriate class.

Lifeguard Training Courses

This course enables the participant to work at an indoor/outdoor pool or lake setting and also certifies the participant in First Aid, CPR for the Professional Rescuer and automated external defibrillator (AED).

Look What I Learned! by Molten Volleyball Camps

Running, jumping, skipping, shuffling, tossing, catching, team work! Everything a young athlete needs to learn and all with a volleyball twist. This clinic is designed to work on basic athletic movements and coordination, while learning the fundamental skills of volleyball.

Pom Pons

Are you ready for this? Don't miss your chance to sign up for this year's Pom Pons program.  Participants will enjoy learning routines that incorporate dance team moves to the latest hip-hop and funk music.

Rookie Basketball Camp

Looking to play some basketball to either learn or sharpen your skills?  Then sign up for this fun camp.  For ages 3 - 5 yr olds.

Rookie Football Camp (Grades 1 - 2)

Looking to play some football to either learn or sharpen your skills? Then sign up for this fun camp. Passing, running, catching, blocking defense, offense and more will be taught. Incorporated into this camp are unique and fun games that will improve your football skills, speed, strength, coordination and agility. This camp will get you ready to play Youth Flag Football.

Ski Brule Trip - Middle School

Middle school students...Spend your Sunday skiing or snow boarding! Join the Parks & Recreation Department for a day of skiing at Ski Brule. Fee includes bus, lift ticket, lunch, and rentals.

Starz Academy

Run, jump, flip repeat! Where? The Ashwaubenon Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department has partnered with the NEW Starz Academy, where every gymnast is a STAR! Learn to tumbling across our 40ft spring floor, jump into our in ground pit filled with soft foam cubes, flip on in ground trampolines and much more! At Starz Academy we strive to touch the lives of children through the art and discipline of gymnastics where students grow in strength, flexibility, self awareness, social development, and self confidence. Interested in other sports - Great! Gymnastics is a great way gain flexibility, strength, balance and endurance in the off season winter and spring sports.

Tae Kwon Do

Tae Kwon Do is a traditional art form which requires discipline, respect and dedication. Beginners will learn the terminology punching and blocking. Advanced students will focus on self-defense techniques, forms, board breaking, free sparring and fighting techniques.

Tots Football Camp (Ages 3 - 5 years old)

Looking for your children to play some football and learn the basic skills? Then sign up for this fun are camp. Passing, running, catching, basic defense and offense will be taught. Incorporated into this camp fun games that will improve your football skills, speed, strength, coordination and agility.

Tumbling

This class will introduce boys and girls to a variety of tumbling skills and floor exercises as well as elementary moves on the balance beam.

Youth Flag Football League (Grades 3 - 6)

Hut, Hut, Hike!  This fall we will be offering the youth Flag Football program for boys and girls who are in grades 3-6 for the 2010-11 school year. The flag football program was designed to teach participants about the sport of football while emphasizing participation and sportsmanship.
